THE BLACK MAGIC EP is the first, truly 2 player, scratch battle records set.
This set is designed to be used with one person using the A/B disc and the opponent using the C/D disc.
The tracks are themed by audio content, you have questions, answers, disses, threats, tips and big ups. These themes are in the same order for each disc, but the audio content is completley different.
The idea being you can needle drop onto a question sample from anywhere in the question track. Then the opponent can needle drop into the answers, (or disses, threats etc- if they prefer) and find a reply to immediatley counteract your question. You can then have a Q&A battle using only the spoken word samples contained within or use one of the three sound effect, skipguarded tracks spaced throughout the disc. See how long you can keep the conversation going, first person without a reply, looses!

If you are into scratching spoken word sentences etc, then this record is the one to test yourself with!

The A sides contain tracks which are protected by skip guard, so that there is minimal needle jumping and skipping in hard performance. Yet you still have a vast array of sounds and effects to work with.

All 4 runouts are etched. The discs are then housed in a high spec gatefold sleeve with double side printing. For added protection the set is then housed in a protective PVC wallet.

The set comes in either all black audiophile PVC, or colour discs whereby every copy comes with a different combination of colours. These are issued at random and I'm unable to offer colour choice.
